Three Services. One Area of Law. Careful Attention to Each.
International marriage registration, contested divorce representation, and uncontested divorce documentation — approached with the same standard of preparation and clarity.
Back to HomeHow We Work
Each engagement at ayothayaxad begins with a consultation — in person at our Watthana office, or by phone or video call if you are not yet in Bangkok. We listen to the situation before we say anything about process.
Once we understand what you need, we set out in writing what we will do, how long it typically takes, what it will cost, and what additional charges (translation fees, court filing fees) may arise. Nothing is ambiguous at that stage.
We then work through the matter with direct lawyer oversight at each step — preparing documents, coordinating with relevant government offices and embassies, and keeping you informed throughout.
Before any document is signed, we review its language with you. We do not assume that legal phrasing is self-explanatory, and we do not rush the review process to suit our schedule.
International & Mixed-Nationality Marriage Registration
Considered preparation for couples registering a marriage in Thailand where one or both parties are foreign nationals. We coordinate the affidavits required from your home embassy, the certified translations and authentication, and the appointment at the appropriate district office. Where helpful, we discuss the implications of Thai marital property regimes and whether a prenuptial agreement may be worth considering before registration.
Suited to couples planning a marriage in Thailand and those formalising a relationship already begun abroad.

Contested Divorce Representation
Patient, careful representation in contested divorce proceedings before the Family and Juvenile Court — including the grounds available under the Civil and Commercial Code, the documentation that supports each, and the practical realities of how such matters tend to unfold. We prepare witnesses with care, communicate openly about likely timeframes, and remain mindful that the people on both sides of such matters are often working through difficult personal circumstances.

Uncontested Divorce & Settlement Documentation
A short, calm engagement to prepare the agreed documentation for an uncontested divorce at the district office — including the divorce declaration itself, division of assets memorandum, and any child custody and support arrangements. We review the language carefully so both parties understand what they are agreeing to before any signature is given.
